Beginning Macrame for Homeschool Teens

Come and learn macrame with me! In this introductory macrame class, students will learn a variety of basic knots and patterns to create a variety of different projects such as belts, plant hangers, wall hangings, and more! This workshop is suitable for complete beginners to the art of macrame or anyone wanting a refresher course, each class builds skills for the next class!

Stitch & String Class for Home School Kids
Ages 8 - 12 with JULIA JONES
Macrame - Stitching Basics - Embroidery
Six session Course: 12:30 - 2pm on Tuesdays

Each class builds skills for the next class and is designed to engage and delight! All materials included in this 6 class bundle. 

Macrame:
Students will learn basic macrame knots such as larks head knot, half knot and square knots, and learn how to create patterns for making items such as keychains and simple wall hangings. 

Embroidery & Stitching Basics:
Students will learn basics of needle and thread such as how to thread a needle, practicing the 3 basic stitches (running stitch, whip stitch and blanket stitch), while creating a beautiful sampler on an embroidery hoop, and then embroider on dyed fabric for a wall worthy piece of art!
