In this five-session course, we will explore the essentials of drawing as both a practice and a way of seeing. Step by step, we’ll build a strong foundation in the core elements of drawing: contour and gesture, line quality, shape and proportion, light and shadow, perspective, depth, and spatial awareness. Each class will include demonstrations, guided exercises, and individual feedback to support both beginners and those looking to refresh their skills.
By the end of the course, students will leave with a toolkit of drawing techniques, a stronger sense of visual perception, and a series of completed works that reflect their progress.
