Inspired by the rich and colorful cultural heritage of Mexico, we will make salsa bowls and tiles, and" Katarina calavera". Using Claudia's collection of vintage Mexican pottery for example, you will learn polychrome underglaze decoration, without drawing first! Terra cotta clay is our medium.

FIGURE SCULPTURE:

Sculpting the ​Female Form - $295​ (plus $30 model fee)
Tuesdays 4:00-6:00​ - 8 Weeks

With the use of proportion and the concept of simplified shapes, beginners get off to a good start with this aspect of figure sculpture. Intermediate students continue with ​a seated figure, including one session with a live model. All materials provided.
