*Tetrapak Etchings:
Discover intaglio-style printmaking using recycled Tetrapak cartons (like juice or milk boxes). The metallic interior is etched with simple tools to create detailed line drawings. Once inked and wiped, the plate is printed—by hand or with a press—for beautifully rich, fine-lined impressions. An eco-conscious way to explore traditional etching methods with minimal setup.
*Kitchen Lithography:
This innovative process adapts classic lithography into a kitchen-friendly format. Using aluminum foil, cola, and oil-based drawing materials, students will explore the principles of grease and water resistance that make lithography work. A fascinating, low-toxic way to learn print chemistry—no heavy equipment required.
