This Foundational Drawing class is a condensed 8 session course on the basics of seeing and drawing accurately. Be ready to challenge your perceptions!

Each class builds on the previous. Students will be given lots of tools to understand and translate what they see into realistic drawings. Some of what we will cover includes hand-eye coordination, plumb lines and comparative measuring, line quality, simplification of forms, and hidden harmonies (my favorite).

Ana was trained at the Laguna College of Art + Design in Laguna Beach, CA, and is a professional portrait artist. This course is a distillation of her education and what she has found to be most helpful in her art practice.
