Opportunities for Studio Artists
2019 Summer Youth Residency Program (SYRP) for Young Artists:
This residency program is available to artists ages 16 - 20. Applicants have a strong studio art focus and a need of studio space with a goal of creating a portfolio / body of work for: upcoming exhibition opportunities; gallery show experience; personal / career advancement such as application to art school or artist in residence programs; learning of a new medium, etc…
The 2019 SYRP provides a sponsored designated private studio space to be time-shared with other student interns, a one day workshop/master class with artist Richard Downs, mentoring and inclusion in ASiF’s 2019 Resident Artist Exhibitions and collaborative art projects..
16 - 20 years of age;
Engaged in a current daily art practice;
Able to commit to regular daily studio use (minimum 3 five hour days per week);
Mature, responsible and well spoken; Good team players; Able to support daily & monthly art center functions such as artists’ receptions.

Resident Artist - Studio / Gallery Space
Artists interested in renting studio and

ASiF’s suite of resident artists are featured as part of the center’s Main Gallery show schedule of solo, two and three person exhibitions with receptions every 6 - 8 weeks. Click HERE for a list of current & upcoming gallery shows.
Resident artists enjoy many benefits including 24 hour keyed access, reduced gallery commission rates, use of community classrooms and equipment, use of the gallery for private functions and many more.

Shared Community Studio Space
