New potters with no ties to the old generations have arrived in NC. The mountains around Asheville are teeming with fresh new talent, and old centers like Seagrove and Creedmoor are embracing new ideas. 

Featuring contemporary works by Michael Hunt and Naomi Dalglish, Michael Kline, Jim Whalen, Ken and Carolyn Poole, Rusty Sieck, Mark Hewitt, Tom Turner, Akira Satake, Ronan Peterson, Nick Joerling, Bruce Gholson, and Kerry Gonzalez

The Foothills Ceramic Art Museum (FCAM) features selections from Kenneth Underwood's over 800 piece collection of internationally acclaimed ceramic artworks. New and rotating FCAM exhibits will open approximately every three months, featuring new selections from the Underwood Permanent Collection, with a focus on a particular style, region, genre or technique.
